This Privacy Policy describes how Mercer Unlimited, Inc. dba Marginosa ("Marginosa," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit marginosa.com (the "Site") or apply to participate in the Marginosa Pilot Program.
We are a small team building a margin-intelligence product for independent flower shops. We collect only the information we need to do that work and to respond to you.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you fill out the Pilot Program application form, send us an email, or otherwise communicate with us. This may include:
- Your name, business name, role, email address, and phone number
- Your shop's location (city and state)
- Operational details you provide about your shop (years in business, shop type, approximate volume, vendor count, recipe count, how you store invoices)
- Your free-text response about the biggest unknown in your shop's profitability
- Where you heard about us
If you are accepted into the Pilot Program and choose to share business records with us (such as supplier invoices and recipes), we will only access and process those records for the purpose of preparing your custom profitability report. We treat them as confidential business information.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting provider may automatically collect standard server log information (IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring URL). We use this only for security and to understand traffic patterns in aggregate.
How We Use Information
- To respond to your inquiries and Pilot Program applications
- To deliver the services you ask for, including custom profitability reports
- To improve our product and the Pilot Program experience
- To send you updates related to your account or application
- To comply with legal obligations
How We Share Information
We do not sell your information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site and the Pilot Program (e.g., our hosting provider, our customer relationship management system). These providers are contractually limited to the work they do for us.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect. No internet transmission is ever 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we work to follow industry-standard practices.
Children
The Site is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated through the Site or by email if appropriate.
